What are the symptoms of Lung Cancer?

  • Shortness of breath

  • Weight loss

  • Cough

  • Coughing blood

  • Wheezing

  • Recurrent chest infections

  • Chest pain

The majority of lung cancers will give no symptoms until a very advanced stage.

The best chance of success in Lung Cancer treatment is early diagnosis and surgical resection. There are many treatment options available, however none are as effective as surgically removing the tumour.

Complete surgical removal also included removing as many lymph nodes as possible. Studies have shown that survival increases with the number of lymph nodes removed.
